Sprocket Automation was founded by James Clayton with a mission to meet the automation needs of the Midwest. With a reputation as a top robotics programmer in the Universal Robots' network, James was inspired to start a company that focused on his passion - collaborative robot cells. A Kansas City local, James holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas University and leveraged his skills to launch his career as the Midwest's robotics engineer at a technical distributor.

As a Universal Robots Certified Systems Integrator (CSI), we have the most experienced cobot integrator in the area to support your collaborative robotics project. However, our capabilities go beyond just robotics. We can transform industrial hardware into solutions, whether it's test stations, machines, or general automation.​
